Less than 1% of 10-year-olds, 1.1% of 11-year-olds and 2.4% of 12-year-olds have had sex, while more than half of 17- to 19-year-olds have had sex, according to a report in the journal Pediatrics. Researchers also found half of children who had sex by age 11 cited coercion.
