Review of nano-based devices planned by EU committee

The European Commission's Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks has been asked to perform a risk evaluation of medical devices that use nanomaterials and submit feedback by next March. The commission will use the feedback to help craft proposals on labeling, risk categorization and instructions for these devices.
