Rollins: Student housing benefits from rising enrollment

More students are returning to college, providing a boost to the student housing sector, says Ted Rollins, co-chairman and CEO of Campus Crest Communities. Also helpful to the sector is the increasing time it takes students to finish their degrees. "We have an average stay in our industry. In the old days of college, four years was kind of the paradigm. Now the average stay is slipping up to five and six years," he said.
