Benefits encourage employees to remain loyal to company

Employees who were most satisfied with their workplace often cited the availability of benefits as an important reason, even if they had to pay for some of them out of pocket, according to a survey by MetLife. “With many employees saying they would pay more for a wider range of voluntary benefits, employers have an opportunity to increase benefits satisfaction without increasing the bottom line,” says Anthony Nugent, MetLife executive vice president.
