CN, CP bolster capacities for Canadian crude-oil shipments

Canadian National and Canadian Pacific are among railroads that are enhancing their capacity for crude-oil shipments as oil producers ramp up deliveries by rail to take advantage of cheap crudes. "Where there aren't pipelines, where [crude] isn't fully served, rail can get crude to markets that have the better return for the producer or the marketer," said CN spokesman Mark Hallman.
