Corporate-talent managers are frustrated by data deluge

Companies collect a vast amount of data on employees, but the information can be poorly used, according to a global survey. For example, companies tend to have a large amount of employee-performance data, but only 1 in 4 companies uses the data to determine which employee might be suited for a management position.
