Drink makers still rely on "one trip throwaway" bottles

More drink makers use single-use bottles than refillable glass or PET bottles, according to market research firm Canadean. Reasons include the cost of reusing bottles and complications of re-branding used bottles. "The race is now on to commercialize a fully biodegradable plastic bottle," the report notes.
