Former head of Bronx LGBT center imprisoned for embezzlement

Lisa Winters, the former executive director of the now-shuttered Bronx Community Pride Center in New York City, was sentenced to two years in prison this week for embezzling $338,000 she spent on personal items such as a dog-walking service and meals. The center closed its doors last summer, citing financial difficulties.
