Gluteal tissue may be good option for breast reconstruction

Gluteal tissue may offer a good alternative to abdominal tissue in breast reconstruction surgery, researchers report in the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery. A higher, more lateral superior gluteal arterial perforator flap allows for a simultaneous body-contouring procedure, researchers said.
