Rains could slow down fieldwork in the Midwest

Rainfall expected in the Midwest over the next two weeks could slow down corn plantings, according to a forecast by Andy Karst, a meteorologist for World Weather. Rains of 0.75 to 1.5 inches or more could prevent farmers in the region from doing much fieldwork, Karst said.
