Returns on leveraged loans fall to lowest level since 2008

Regulators including the Federal Reserve are starting to worry that the $561 billion leveraged loan market is becoming dangerously frothy. So far this year speculative grade loan gains have averaged 2.1%, compared with an average of 5.6% during comparable periods in the previous four years.
