School celebrates Nutrition Month with healthy cooking contest

School staff, parents, chefs and students at an elementary school in Maine held a cooking competition last week as part of its Nutrition Month celebration in which students were asked to judge the best dishes. The competitors were asked to prepare dishes that taste good, but also are nutritious. The dish that won "best tasting" during the Food Face-Off Challenge was tenderloin, tomato basil grits and a cheese omelet.
