Survey finds decrease in harmful behaviors among troops

The number of active-duty military personnel smoking, binge drinking and using illegal drugs is dropping, according to a Defense Department survey of nearly 40,000 service members. About one-fourth of troops still smoke and 12.8% use smokeless tobacco, while a third binge drink.
