Urban truck redesign takes cyclist safety into account

Lower height, larger windows and early-warning cameras are among the features of concept trucks redesigned for urban environments to avoid collisions with cyclists. The suggestions from the London Cycling Campaign are intended to reduce the number of cyclist fatalities by encounters with trucks, which now account for half of all cyclist road deaths in London.
