Modern girls mystify toymakers

Toymakers are still able to capture the imaginations of boys, but the girl market is proving increasingly elusive, as increasingly sophisticated girls abandon toys often before starting middle school. Girls are more likely to seek out play experiences, like those offered at chains like Club Libby Lu, or else go in for more hobby-oriented activities like decorating or scrapbooking.
