Researchers develop a nanoparticle that could work against superbugs

IBM researchers, working with scientists at the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore, developed a nanoparticle that in lab tests works against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The researchers said the nanoparticle can zero in on bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus without harming healthy cells. IBM is looking for a partner to develop the drug.
