Mass. industry representatives rally against medical device tax

Industry officials from Massachusetts have converged in Washington, D.C., in recent weeks to urge legislators to repeal the 2.3% medical device tax set to begin next year, arguing that the levy will lead to job and research funding cuts. There are about 400 medtech firms in Massachusetts, many of which are small businesses.
