Cleveland theater district to get $16 million in signs and displays

Cleveland's PlayhouseSquare theater district "has won high praise" but has yet to attract "the year-round street life it covets," Steven Litt writes. The nonprofit PlayhouseSquare Foundation is hoping to change that with a $16 million investment in "bright new signs, gateway arches and digital displays, big and small," Litt writes. "We're incredibly excited about this project. We believe it will be transformational," says Art Falco, head of PlayhouseSquare.
