Financial crisis built confidence in advisers, survey finds

Among investors using a financial adviser, 90% said their adviser was helpful during the financial crisis, according to a survey by Fidelity Investments. Almost a quarter of respondents said they depend more on a financial professional now than they did before. "We have, for some time, been talking about a bull market for financial advice. To have almost 25% of respondents say they are going to use a financial professional more in the future than they have in the past is proof positive," said Scott Couto, president of Fidelity Financial Advisor Solutions.
