How will Facebook market its new phone offering?

Facebook will likely look to former Apple and Levi's marketing executive Rebecca Van Dyck, who was hired last year as head of consumer marketing, to spearhead a campaign for the HTC-made Facebook phone that's expected to be announced today, writes Cotton Delo. Van Dyck helped launch such Apple properties as the iPhone and iPad, and HTC is not expected to contribute much to the marketing of the phone.
