Minn. reports serving more students via supplemental meal programs

The Minnesota Department of Education is reporting a 3.8% increase in the number of public-school students receiving free and reduced-price meals. Some say the underlying need for meals is not worsening, but rather schools are doing a better job of connecting students with the meal program.
