Obama needs to clarify Afghanistan strategy, former officials say

Former Obama administration officials say the president needs to make a decision regarding the post-2014 U.S. troop presence in Afghanistan, as delaying increases the chances of a Taliban resurgence in the region. "In Afghanistan right now there's a huge amount of anxiety about the scale and nature of the U.S. commitment long-term," former Undersecretary of Defense Michele Flournoy said.
