SBLF money helps increase small-business lending

Small-business lending has increased for seven consecutive quarters, according to the Treasury Department. The amount lent has grown by $8.9 billion, with loans to community banks and funding from the Small Business Lending Fund. The largest number of loans was in the service and agriculture sectors.
