Senate panel plans roundtable talks on natural gas exports

The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee will hold several roundtable discussions in May to tackle natural gas development issues, including the possible effects of authorizing expanded gas imports. "Congress needs to be sure U.S. policies are up to the task of maximizing the economic benefits of [natural gas], and doing it in an environmentally responsible way," said Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., the committee's chairman.
