Study: Most U.S. adults with asthma have an allergy too

An analysis of data from the U.S. National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey showed that 75% of asthma patients ages 20 to 40 and 65% of patients ages 55 and older also suffer from at least one allergy. The findings could help improve proper diagnosis and treatment, the study's lead author said. The study was published in the journal Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
