US Airways consolidated traffic increased in March

Consolidated traffic at US Airways rose 5.2% in March, as compared to the prior year. Load factor and consolidated capacity also increased for the month, but passenger revenue per available seat mile dropped. "March PRASM results are lower than previous guidance due to reduce[d] close-in demand believed to be driven largely by the sequester," the carrier said.
