Sabbaticals aren't all rest and renewal

Michèle Mendelssohn writes that her time during a research sabbatical at the University of Utah isn't "drastically different" from her regular teaching gig at Oxford University, as she often puts in 50-hour weeks. "I've come to recognize that a sabbatical is not a panacea. It will not make life's challenges disappear," she writes.
