Michigan school board praised for use of propane-powered buses

The Propane Education and Research Council has praised school officials in Zeeland, Mich., for their use of propane to power the district's buses. The district has nine propane buses, bought last year under an Environmental Protection Agency grant, helping to reduce its per-bus emissions by about 80% and its fuel costs by 80 cents per gallon.
