Time Warner boosts iPad presence despite industry opposition:

Time Warner Cable pushed forward with its plans to be a leader in the delivery of live television over Apple's iPad with the addition of 19 new channel options to its existing iPad programming content. The company made the move in the face of mounting opposition from some broadcasters, including Fox Cable, Viacom and Discovery, all of which forced the network to pull their channels from its iPad lineup.
