TRICARE program adopts Epocrates' mobile drug reference app

The Defense Department will use Epocrates' system to allow providers to use their mobile devices to access drug data from the agency's TRICARE medical program. The technology gives doctors "more time talking with their patients and less time trying to navigate through formularies to try to identify the best medication," TRICARE official Stacia Spridgen said.
