FDA sends inspectors to China to investigate chicken jerky treats

The FDA has sent officials to China to investigate the manufacturing plants that produce the chicken jerky treats believed to be linked to kidney failure and some deaths in dogs in the U.S., according to representatives for Sen. Sherrod Brown and Rep. Dennis Kucinich, both Ohio Democrats. A spokesman for Kucinich said information about the investigation should be available soon.
