Consumer products such as the iPad and online tools provided by Dropbox, Google and other companies are finding wider use in corporate enterprises, Rachael King writes. While Google Apps has been able to gain more than 40 million users, Microsoft's Office software has 1 billion users around the world, according to Gartner, and Microsoft is now offering the Office 365 hosted service as an alternative to Google Apps and other cloud-based productivity tools.
