Bundesbank reportedly investigates bank over credit derivatives

Investigators from Germany's Bundesbank are heading to New York next week to look into allegations that Deutsche Bank hid losses on credit derivatives during the global financial crisis, sources say. Deutsche Bank says the claims are more than 2½ years old and that a law firm looked into them and found them "wholly unfounded." "Moreover, the investigation revealed that these allegations stem from people without responsibility for, or personal knowledge of, key facts and information," according to Deutsche Bank. "We have and will continue to cooperate fully with our regulators on this matter."
