Coca-Cola has combined global brand and integrated marketing under the umbrella Global Sparkling Brand Center and put Wendy Clark in charge. "The new structure establishes a single point of leadership accountability, increases the holistic, end-to-end thinking for building global brands and integrates teams for added speed and responsiveness," according to a memo by Joe Tripodi, Coke's chief marketing and commercial officer. Clark joined the company from AT&T in 2008 and worked as head of global integrated marketing communications.
