CSX-, NS-served Ga. port to receive more funding for $652M project

An additional $50 million from the state budget will help cover expenses for a $652 million deepening project at Georgia's Port of Savannah. The port is served by CSX and Norfolk Southern. "This infrastructure investment is crucial not just for the port, but for the economy of Georgia and the entire Southeast," said Gov. Nathan Deal.
