Groups demand anti-corruption measures in New York

The arrest of New York state Sen. Malcolm Smith and five other people on bribery charges brought new demands for efforts to do away with a "pay-to-play" culture in the state. Watchdog groups called for passage of a reform package with limits on campaign contributions, publicly financed matches for small donations and tougher enforcement.
