Interoperability will drive widespread mHealth use, report says

A PricewaterhouseCoopers report finds that although the adoption of mobile health applications has been on the rise, the ability of these technologies to integrate with health IT systems has not kept up. To get doctor buy-in, developers must demonstrate mHealth's clinical efficacy and ROI, which can be achieved through interoperability, the report notes.
