Iowa principal lobbies for suicide-prevention training after son's death

Brian Carico, principal of Johnston Middle School in Iowa, lost his teenage son to suicide, but he's determined to help other families avoid the same tragedy. Carico is lobbying lawmakers to support a bill -- passed unanimously in the Iowa Senate and awaiting debate in the House -- that would require teachers in the state to receive mental health and suicide-prevention training as part of renewing their teaching licenses.
