Mobile TV devices to be sold at NAB Show for the first time

Mobile TV devices, which have only been displayed as prototypes at previous NAB Shows, will be sold at the show store this year, a possible "harbinger of progress," Michael Grotticelli writes. "Mobile TV holds promise for consumers and broadcasters as video on-the-go becomes increasingly in demand and data plan consumption charges become more expensive for consumers. Indeed, broadcasters' one-to-everyone transmission model is the most efficient means of delivering content," said Rick Kaplan of NAB.
