N.J. officials seek guidance on school-technology purchases

Officials in a New Jersey school district are looking to establish a technology plan to ensure that money is not wasted on devices and infrastructure. To help guide them, some are calling for the hiring of an adviser on technology purchases. Trustee Marilyn Schultz said, "... I think we need a plan and we need somebody that knows a lot about technology and how these things all tie in so that we can move forward without wasting money and buying things that are outdated."
