Pa. township hears proposal to build gas storage facility

The Plainfield Township, Pa., Zoning Hearing Board met Wednesday to discuss Airgas USA's proposal to build a 34,800-square-foot gas storage facility in the township. The facility would store specialty and industrial gases, including propane. Some residents expressed safety concerns, but AirGas said its "people are highly trained."
