Parents, teens share their favorite brands

Parents pass their buying habits down to their teens when it comes to established brands such as Gap and Nordstrom, while teens are the ones who turn their folks onto newer names including Trader Joe's and Urban Outfitters, according to a group of a dozen teens. They enjoy creating special memories by sharing brands with parents, but still prefer to keep some -- such as Victoria's Secret PINK -- strictly to themselves, they say.
