Polarization could slow Financial Services Committee's work

Reps. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, and Maxine Waters, D-Calif., could not view government's role in society much more differently, and analysts say that sets up gridlock for the House Financial Services Committee. "Thus far, I haven't seen a single instance where I feel encouraged by what the committee is going to accomplish in this Congress," said Isaac Boltansky, policy analyst at Compass Point Research & Trading.
