Sponsor: CISPA will not authorize businesses to become hackers

The House Intelligence Committee will take up cybersecurity next week in a special closed-door meeting where lawmakers will make final tweaks to the proposed Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act. Critics of the bill -- including the Center for Democracy and Technology -- say the current language would open the door for businesses to engage in hacking, but committee Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Mich., a CISPA co-sponsor, said that is not its intention.
