Stage 3 MU proposals get positive response from HIT panel

The proposed consolidation of stage 3 meaningful use measures from the original 43 to 25 goals and the idea of "deeming" in which high performers or those demonstrating substantial improvements may be deemed to satisfy the MU mandates were the subject of a Health IT Policy Committee hearing Wednesday. The proposals received a largely positive response from the panel.
