Startup offers a search tool for fighting patent litigation

A startup called Docracy, which provides access to legal documents, is launching a new service to help users locate prior art as they attempt to fend off so-called patent trolls. The tool is designed to be more sophisticated than simple keyword searches and not as costly as extensive manual searches. "We can't say we're a silver bullet, but at least we make it more efficient to do searches and find relevant results," co-founder John Watkinson said.
