Stihl VP aims to empower dealers, reach out to customers

Nick Jiannas, who's been with Stihl for 18 years and is now the vice president of sales and marketing, said he plans to empower the company's network of independent dealers and reach out to their customers to enhance the firm's presence in the marketplace. Jiannas attends regular meetings with dealers to understand their needs and to determine how to improve the company's products. He also plans to invest more in marketing to encourage customers to purchase their outdoor power equipment from dealerships.
