Survey sheds light on young investors' habits

Many stereotypes about young investors, such as a reliance on social media for information, are not accurate, a Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group survey has found. Nearly 60% of wealthy young investors surveyed watch business news programs on television, while 55% read newspapers and 52% read magazines for financial news. Only 27% rely on social media or blogs for financial information.
