Twitter, Weather Channel launch custom-content partnership

Brands could soon have the opportunity to sponsor coverage of hurricanes and other high-profile weather events, thanks to a deal struck between Twitter and The Weather Channel. The pair will co-publish custom content, including forecasts, user-generated content and news coverage, with a view to securing sponsorship deals from other brands.
