Udemy has expanded its online learning platform by adding an iPhone application for students who want to watch lectures and educational videos from their mobile devices. The company hopes the app will allow it to provide its courses worldwide. The iPhone app is in addition to the company's iPad app, introduced in 2012, and its desktop platform. Students will be "be able to take classes, watch videos or even look up ideas anywhere there is an Internet connection," Julia Lawrence writes. A survey conducted by Udemy showed that nearly half of its 600 student respondents wanted more on-demand offerings.
